If there is a favorite in this field, it could be In Cold Blood. With a second-place finish in stakes company last start, she looks ready to make the step up to stakes winner. On the other hand, there’s Art Of Laughter who is graded stakes placed and finished second in stakes company earlier this year.
Here’s the field:
1 Gaelic Moon (Angelos Stable) Won an allowance at TUP in April. Hasn’t made it back to the winner’s circle since, but she did finish third by a length, again in allowance company, last out at MTH.
2, Royally Bred (High Voltage) Won this race last year wiring the field in the process. Has not hit the board in four starts since.
3 In Cold Blood (First Flight Stable) Claiming winner four starts back. Finished second in the Osuntas Stakes last out. Looks like the one to beat.
4 Charley Trance (Asgar) Second in N1X company in January. Has tried stakes level three times since then but hasn’t been able to hit the board. Was close enough to get some attention and could be in the mix.
5 Art Of Laughter (Rampage Stable) Second in $100.000 Lightning City Stakes in February by a neck. Third in graded company two starts back. Step up but she may be ready for it.
