She had to run some pretty solid splits to hold out the wide gate speed push but by halfway was beginning to get away from the challenger and get into her customary role of lone speed. She wobbled through the final furlong holding on in the end by a neck making it two from two for the owner who claimed her back in July.

2nd New Albany Our Athletes Geroux F 1:09.34

Stalked the leading pair and came on strong at the end but just couldn’t catch the tiring leader. This was a good effort by the consistent filly.

3rd Sinisoul Alydar Stables Conner T 1:09.55

Outpaced a little mid-race she was staying on again at the end but just wasn’t strong enough to the line. A good third in the end she has improved nicely throughout the year and has plenty of time to win a race like this.

4th Dauzacs Girl TwinTowersRacing Davis D 1:09.64

Made ground from the trail but this run convinced me she is better over further.
