In the blink of an eye, or so it seemed… Blind Appeal, sent off at a shocking 57/1, and our second pick, made every jump a winning one, breaking on top, leading throughout, and cruising under the wire clear by a length, setting a new Black-Eyed Susan Stakes record, coving the mile and an eighth in 1:48.18.  Up She Flew, the post time favorite, chased the winner all the way around the PIM oval, but couldn’t get close enough to be a threat, settling for the second spot, with Electric Mischief closing a late gap to be third.  Alice Springs grabbed the minor money from the field of six.
