1st Great Changes Luz International Camacho Sa

This was far from a full field before the rain but afterwards we saw just four go to post and it was another enterprising ride from the under rated Camacho Sa that got this four-year-old home. Going to the front he got away with fairly even splits which didn’t suit his rivals and he had enough kick left in the end to hold the challengers at bay. This was win number four from just eight starts for this four-year-old who looks to be progressing pretty well and may just turn out to be pretty good.

2nd Outcrosss Threshold Jara F

The old stager has found some of his old form and ran on strongly for second. This wasn’t a strong race, and he may be flattered by the placing, but he continues to be competitive.

3rd If This Is It Martyparty Castillo I

Was it the off track or the fact that the three-year-olds are still not quite up to competing at this level with the older horses? Make up your own mind but the colt had every chance and didn’t really see the race through.

4th Warrior Time D J C Racing Stables Bravo J

Maybe it was the wet track that got the big outsider so close at the end, but he couldn’t manage to nab a top three in the end after settling last for the entire race.
