Two Year Olds Fillies Canadian Breds

A field of five Ontario bred juvenile fillies have been entered up for this years running of the Princess Elizabeth Stakes here at Woodbine. A nice field has been entered up for this race and there are some promising runners in this field. Lets take a look at the field.

1. Hot Hollywood (2-1-0-0 $5.100), trained by Estero Farms

The first filly we take a look at right here and she is coming into this race off of a win in a maiden claimer at Louisiana Downs. She won nicely but this a huge step up in class. She is going to have to run a lights out race to win in here.

2. Enriched (2-1-0-0 $33.430), trained by Mb Stables

Now to this filly right here who is coming off of a win in an Ontario bred maiden special weight over this same track and distance. She won nicely in there that day going wire to wire and hanging on for the win. She has strong works and I think she will be tough in here.

3. Give Me A Hug (6-2-1-0 $107.170), trained by Chili King Stables

And here we have one of the two stakes winners that are in this field and she beat Ontario breds in that stakes victory. She ran good that day but she is all speed and this her first time going two turns. I think the distance is too far for her based on her previous races.

4. Ready To Roll (3-1-1-0 $41.200), trained by Team 7 Illusions

The other stakes winner in this field right here but the only problem with her is that she has only raced on the turf so far in her career. Her dirt works are not bad as far as I can see so if the turf form translates she could have a live shot.

5. Loch Awe (7-1-2-1 $32.320), trained by The Sidley Stud

The last filly in the field in the field here is coming into this race off of a second in the Our Dear Peggy on the turf at Gulfstream. Her best races have been around two turns so far so the distance is no issue. She has a chance if she can work out a good trip from this post.

Summary

Although a small field right here there are some good fillies in this race. I am going to go ahead and make Enriched my top pick off of that maiden score and her impressive works. Good luck to all in the field.
