After 10 Years, The Cliff Hanger Stakes Is Back
For the first time since 2016, the Cliff Hanger Stakes will be run at MTH, sending a field of six a little more than a mile around the turf course. The race was only run between 2011 and 2016, and would see its distance fluctuate between a mile and a mile and an eighth during that time.

The Keertana Is Anyone’s Race
Saturday’s action at CD will include the 11th running of the Keertana, which sends older females a mile and a half around the turf course. This ungraded stake began modestly with just a $65.00 purse, but did reach the current $250.00 level for the first time in 2024.
