The Endeavor BC – Grade 3 – $175.000
TAM – 1 1/16 Mile – Turf
For Fillies and Mares Four Years Old and Upward
February 4, 2023
Mo Mentum Farm’s Painville extended her win streak to four with a win in the Endeavor. She challenged Tessas Star for the lead for the first quarter mile, but Painville took control into the backstretch and never looked back. The contest was for second between Perfectly Pink and Lady Hilltopper. Both of them came from the clouds. Perfectly Pink picked her way through traffic while Lady Hilltopper swung to the outside and made her run from there. Painville led by as much as three lengths, but these two cut that lead to one at the wire.
Complete Order of Finish:
1 Painville (Mo Mentum Farm) Led at every call but the first and won by a length.
2 Perfectly Pink (The Freakshow) Made a big move from off the pace to finish second.
3 Lady Hilltopper (Black N Gold Stable) Came from way back to get up for third.
4 Loihi (Martyparty) Dead last throughout, made a run late to finish fourth.
5 Love Of The People (Mb Stables) Very even mid-pack run.
6 Lipsticker (Our Athletes) Close early but got outrun late.
7 Tessas Star (Glorify Stables) Led early but couldn’t stay in front.
8 Lotta Carnival (Oval Express Farms) Stalked the pace early, then lost ground late.
9 Stinky Rene (TwinTowersRacing) Never a factor.
10 On Solid Ground (Oquinn Farm) Showed to speed and finished last.
Painville is by Pain out of the Quench mare, Charme Ville. The win is her fourth in a row and brings her career earnings to $379.430. Congratulations to Painville and Mo Mentum Farm!
