Last beaten three lengths… and there was a dead-heat for last… so are the times here at HRP.  An absolute calvary charge in the lane to bring the Perryville (GIII) to a close, but Maxmillion Farm’s Crumbler proves you can win with speed, as the speedy 3yo holds on by a head to take this seven furlong dash.  The final running time was a snappy 1:21.30 over the main KEE oval, listed as Fast… and back-to-back Perryville wins for Max, as he took this race last year with Gorilla Glue.  That was the winner’s first victory for the stable after the private purchase for $300.000, two races back, and at nearly 10/1 odds, the public was like me and somewhat ignore him… bad idea.  Last Round closed late, as did many of these, handing Fractious the runner-up loot, then a half length to Riggins Racing’s Raging Heights in third, and an equal gap to Mb Stables’ Disclosed getting the minor money.  As noted, only three lengths separated the field in this one.
