It was a big day of racing here at PRX and the Alphabet Soup Hcp goes to Pure Pinnacle and Lanfanco Stable as the 5yo gelding covered the mile and a sixteenth distance in 1:39², over a firm turf course.  The margin of victory was a half length.  Nobile Dex closed from well back to grab the runner-up spot, three-quarters of a length in front of Day Tribe, and Cascade King grabbed the minor money.  It was an evenly matched group with only four lengths covering the field. 

Pure Pinnacle ia s 5yo gelded son of Pinnacle West – Pure Lexi, by Pure Steel, and he was bred in PA by Tiratzo.  Lanfranco Stable acquired him via the claim box, taking him in Dec of ’21 for $12.500, and this is the third win since the hostile takeover.  He now has five wins from eighteen starts and earnings of $251.400.  Congrats to the Connections!

Pure Pinnacle mid-pack 2p to the far turn, drifted for the drive, took over at the sixteenth marker, won driving.  Nobile Dex rated off of the pace, moved 2p advancing to the lane, switched to 3p, good late effort.  Day Tribe dueled with foe to the sixteenth pole, tired.  Cascade King wide trip, some late foot.  Mulch no factor.  You Know Youre Right dueled with foe to the sixteenth pole, used up.  Chai Sprint trailed throughout.  Cephalonian tracked the pace to the far turn, spent.
