1 Ambiguity, trained by Blushing Meadows
Although this filly just has the one win to her name she has been very close to the top of her generation but has yet to really make her mark. A close second in the Sorrento Stakes after that maiden win she went on to finish fourth in the DMR Debutante again coming up against the top fillies Beat To The Punch and Confidently In Love. A poor draw saw her fail in the Chandelier and since then she has dropped off the map a little with fairly average efforts at ungraded level. Her last two efforts were on turf so they give us some clue as to her chances here even though they were defeats they werent too bad, a good draw i expect something closer to her good two year old form.

2 Sandset, trained by Team 7 Illusions
Another with just the one win she has been on the statebred circuits since and has done well enough to earn a shot at this level. Her recent works on turf suggest the trainer has been looking at other avenues so maybe she will be the surprise package. One feels this may be her last race to break through at this level and i think this is her best opportunity. A good draw will give her every chance.

3 Quakerce, trained by Sir Daniel Martin
With four wins from six this filly was the find of the year after being bought at auction for just $11.000 and ending up as the BC Juvenile fillies Turf winner. Her form before that famous win was good but the win itself was outstanding and like many other i have been looking forward to seeing how she has trained on. Anything close to that BC form and she wins this in a canter.

4 Pink Cross, trained by Fractious
Another that has been doing well on the statebred circuit she is a consistent sort with plenty of speed but hasnt show too much stomach for a fight in her more recent races. This chance of surface and step up in trip may be just the ting she needs and she will strip fit after a seasonal debut fourth.

5 Quiver Pond, Estero Farms
The impressive winner of the Natalma Stakes she had Quakerce behind her that day. She was strongly fancied for the BC Juvenile Turf but though she stayed on nicely for third was easily held by Quakerce on that occasion. Two decent efforts on dirt have followed but the evidence of her outstanding 1.34 and 4 work at GP suggest she is ready to take the turf division by storm. She has the fitness edge on Quakerce today and that may be enough to see her take a second victory over the champion filly.

6 Chai Mission, trained Maxmillion Farm
Ninth in the BC Juvenile Turf she stayed on well that today without getting in a blow and whilst her form since has been pretty good she looks third best behind the two principles here.

7 Agenda, trained by Mb Stables
Its not often i say this but the entry from the champion trainer looks to be fourth best in this rather competitive grade three race. Drawn wide and a no show in the BC she reappeared at the top level taking a big allowance at TUP, actually it was a tiddly little race which she won by three quarters of a length and whilst that looked well below her ability her presence here suggests it was a warm up for a race at this level.

SUMMARY
This looks a race between Quiver Pond and Quakerce and i suspect that Quiver Pond will have the edge today.
