The Endeavour BC – GIII
TAM Race 6 1 1/16M – Turf
Purse $150.000
Four Year Olds and Up Fillies and Mares
Now here we have a very solid field of seven fillies and mares including last year’s Three Year Old and Turf Filly of the year Quiver Pond. She had an amazing run last year and this will be her first start of the year. But they aren’t just going to give her the win and some of this runners could upset her if everything goes right for them.
1. Smokin Nebulae (25-5-6-5 $1025.000), trained by Drabfantasy
Now here is one of the ones that I think could upset the champion filly. This mare is a graded stakes winner and has placed in so many other graded stakes races also. She is very versatile also so that could help her out. I think she is going to need everything to go her way but if it does she could win this race.
2. Moon Car (13-4-2-3 $286.520), trained by Crocker Ggs
I also think that this filly has a pretty good chance if everything goes right for her because she is a very good filly when she runs her best. She is a graded stakes winner also and has placed in multiple grade stakes races also. She will be pretty tough if everything goes her way.
3. Heckle Me Pink (10-5-0-2 $213.020), trained by Nakamura Stables
I think that this filly could also have a chance right here. She is going to need a very slow pace on the front end though because that is where she likes to be at. She is a graded stakes winner in her own right so she is definitely a tough filly but she will need a slow pace to win in this spot.
4. Destination Ny (12-2-4-2 $404.320), trained by Maxmillion Farm
Now here is one of the ones that I’m just not sure about because she only has two starts on the turf in her career and those were both maiden races which she lost. I just cant give her that much of a chance because I’m not sure how she is going to run on the turf and I’m not sure how she stacks up with this competition.
5. Summit (14-4-3-4 $190.370), trained by D J C Racing Stables
Also one of the ones that I cannot give a huge chance in here because she just hasn’t faced runners of this caliber before. She is coming into this race off of a win which was against optional claimer but that was also sprinting and not routing. I’m not going to say she has no shot but I’m not going to pick her either.
6. Red Broom (13-5-3-2 $239.510), trained by John Henry
Well here is the filly that I think has the best chance to upset Quiver Pond right here. She is graded stakes placed and she even ran second in the grade one Matriarch. I think if everything goes good for her she will have the best shot out of everyone to upset the champion.
7. Quiver Pond (15-9-0-1 $2777.200), trained by Estero Farms
Ah here she is the big filly and the champion and two HRP Award winner for 2018. This will be her first start of the year and she hasn’t ran since she won the Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Turf in early November. She is the obvious top choice and I think she will win this race without a doubt.
8. Quakerce (17-8-2-0 $889.600), trained by Fractious
Scratched
Summary
This is a pretty good race right here I think and there is some good fillies in here for sure. The obvious top choice is Quiver Pond who is just the best horse in this race and she also just simply outclasses them for sure. I think she will in this spot for sure. Good luck to all in the race.
