Kabooom goes the tote board…  Processing Greek, sent off at nearly 40-1 odds and fresh off of a change of barns via a $10.500 claim probably won’t be headed back tothe poor side of town anytime soon as the 6yo gray mare upset the apple cart and won the Fleur De Lis Hpc (GII) by a half length.  It was a close finish and it seemed any of these had a shot in the stretch… the final running time was 1:48² for the mile and an eighth on the fast CD main track and less than two lengths covered the field.  It was a half length back to Shining Moments in second, another half length to Techno Slayer and third then three quarter’s of a length to Take The Fifth taking the minor money.  . 

Processing Greek is a 6yo gray mare by Processing Class – Get Her To The Greek, by Greek God, and she was bred in Cal by Toppedout.  As mentioned, she was claimed by Arindel for $10.500 out of her last race.  This was her ninth win from twenty-two starts and she now has lifetime earnings of $285.640.  Congrats to the Connections!

Processing Greek raced off of the pace 2p throughout, moved widest for the drive, good closing effort prevailing late.  Shining Moments tracked the pace throughout, moved to 3p for the drive, good effort.  Techno Slayer rated off of the pace, cut the corner into the lane, no excuses.  Take The Fifth broke alertly, set the pace opening a clear lead into the lead, tired.
