This grand old warrior rounded off a decent season with a flying finish and a half length win. A grade one runner up in September he looked an easier pick after he won and he is showing no signs of his age so could carry on from this next year.

2nd Rising Light, trained by Nakamura Stable
Ran a decent race but experience beat him today. Running from a nice midpack spot the winner came over the top to beat him inside the distance.

3rd Team panther, trained by Tiratzo
Ran a loose stalk and looked like he was going to finaly win a decent race and fulfill some of hs promise. As it was he had no answer to the late finishers and once again couldnt produce the goods on the day.

4th Fly Millenium, trained by John Henry
This good sprinter proved that he could be effective over this trip but just lacked the stamina to finish off the race.
