Rock Boat stalked the leaders from the off then ran on strongly down the home stretch to take up the lead in the final furlong going on to win by a neck from Moriches Bay with Superwillie three quarters of a length further back in third. The winner is owned by Night Rider Stables.

How they ran
Rock Boat settled five lengths off the pace then ran on strongly down the home stretch to take up the lead in the final furlong going on to win by a neck.
Moriches Bay settled in mid pack six lengths off the pace ran on strongly down the home stretch going up to finish second.
Superwillie started in fourth and stayed on at one pace taking third in the final furlong.
Saphir du Rheu started in seventh racing five lengths off the pace then ran on strongly making up four lengths to finish fourth beaten by a length.
El Gran George settled at the rear of the field then ran on strongly getting up to finish fifth.
Lonely Town settled near the rear of the field then ran on t getting up to finish sixth.
The Rook broke and raced in second and passed in the final furlong dropping back through the field to finish seventh.
Water Mummy lead the field from the off till the final furlong and weakened badly dropping back to finish eighth beaten by seven lengths.
Baffle started in third then just went backwards weakening back to finish last of the nine runners beaten by seven lengths.
