Roger That Will Try to Add Another Stakes Win for Mb Stables

                           The Silver Charm- NG
                      TAM Race 8 1M 70yds- Dirt
                               Purse $100.000
Three Year Olds Colts & Geldings

A group of 4 FL bred three year old males lining up at a shot of a stakes win. All four were TC nominated but none of them were quite up to that level during the TC prep season. While none of them are really graded stakes quality yet this race could possibly be a springboard to bigger and better things to come.

1. Ocala Jim (8-2-3-1 $54.840), trained by John Henry

Maybe the most consistent horse in the race with six out of eight races in the money. After an allowance earlier in the year at SA which he won he shipped to AQU to run in the Withers. After a pretty bad effort there he came to TAM and ran second in a OClm16/N2X-N where he set the pace and got caught before the wire. He’ll need a big effort to win here.

2. Roger That (6-2-1-1 $76.120), trained by Mb Stables

The three year old son of Commanding has only run twice this year with one win coming in a OClm40/N2X-N at SA and a dismal effort in the Rebel at OP last out. After that effort he’s been throwing down some pretty quick 5f and 6f works so that shows it didn’t take much out of him. I’m expecting a big performance in here.

3. Farcry (6-1-2-1 $15.170), trained by Blazin D

With only two starts on the year and both of them being in turf stakes and being out of the money finishes you have to wonder why this horse is in here. It all has to be riding on the only time this horse won, which was at TUP way back in November last year. A couple decent works show he may have an outside chance but looks like a big longshot.

4. Champion In Action (8-2-0-1 $97.000), trained by Night Rider Stables

A horse who likes to hang out in the back of the field and every once in a while will come rolling late. He hasn’t shown much in his last two with out of the money finishes. He did run third three back in a $400.000 statebred stake and he will have to run back to that race if he wants any chance in here.

Summary

While the Mb Stables trained runner looks like the one to beat, I wouldn’t count the rail horse or outside horse. The John Henry trained Ocala Jim is the most consistent horse in the race with out a doubt. Champion In Action could come flying late if there’s a pace meltdown and steal it all though, and Farcry is the horse you can’t get a great read on since he hasn’t ran on dirt in so long
