The betting public had the winner of this one pegged from the start. Roxy Lisa was the heavy betting favorite and didn’t disappoint as she was able to nose out a victory over Sharp Terms.

3 — Roxy Lisa – Trained by Canadian Racing, Ridden by Wilson E J

Roxy Lisa used the same strategy she did in her previous win by taking back a few lengths early on and making a run at it down the stretch. The strategy worked perfectly as she turned on the jets down the stretch and was able to get her nose ahead before hitting the wire.

6 — Sharp Terms – Trained by Mb Stables, Ridden by Husbands P

The filly might of got a little excited headed down the stretch, she may have thought she was going to be home and clear to break her maiden until Roxy Lisa was able to find that extra kick in the last half furlong to get the job done. This will not be the last of this talented filly though, she had the widest trip around the track and still almost got it done.

5 — Attitude Adjustment – Trained by Emerald Racing Inc, Ridden by Garcia Alan

Leading most of the way around the track was Attitude Adjustment. She got out of the gate quick and was hoping to never look back but burnt out just a bit before the wire. If she wants to continue being the one leading the way early in a race she needs to be able to hold that pace a little longer. If she can find a way to do that she will eventually find the winners circle.
