1st Sacred Brave, trained by Blushing Meadows

A rather surprising winner of this year’s Queens Plate I didn’t really seeing this horse get the job done but I am glad he surprised me because he won impressively. He went ahead and did what is nearly impossible and that’s win from the lead. He ran the race in 2:01.40 and earned $600.000 smackers for the win.

2nd Blindfold, trained by Mb Stables

The Mb Stables horse who I thought was the second stringer once again beats the horse who I thought was the first stringer. This horse is definitely no slouch and ran a helluva race to run second and he was coming at the winner all the way to the wire. A very good effort to run second by this horse.

2nd Mist Maker, trained by Crocker Ggs

Once again he ran hard and came flying but he was too late like he usually is. He breaks your heart cause you know he can win but it seems like he just never gets there in time. He ran very good race still though and was really rolling down the lane. If he can get a tad more kick he will win more races.

4th Great Romance, trained by Drabfantasy

The maiden who I thought had almost zero chance of winning at all ends up running a huge race to run fourth in here. I knew you could never count Drabfantasy out for any reason because he knows his horses and how good they are. This horse ran a very big race to run fourth and should improve.

Summary

Well it was a bit of an upset in the first leg of the Canadian Triple Crown this year as Sacred Brave won with a huge front running performance in here. Mist Maker and Blindfold were coming at him but he was just not letting them get to him. Congrats to Blushing Meadows on the big win.
