1st Sannys Legacy Threshold Lopez P

There is no doubt that an off track helps a closer and in a perfect storm of perfect circumstances today this little filly once more launched her devastating finish, but this time found the line in front. Her turn of foot was pretty breathtaking in the soft ground to bring her the biggest win of her short career and if these conditions all happened again in the right race you could see her doing it again. Named after the great late Sanny Village she is out of that stables mare Sannys Dream and it is a testament to that great man that he can still be remembered today through the blood lines that he set up.

An on-pacer, normally she went back today and ran home really strongly for second. It may have been a tinkering with the gaming tabs or the off track but either way she ran home very well but could not match the winner’s late sprint.

3rd Haukea High Voltage Van Dyke D

Stalking on an off track can be problematic but she did really well in the end to hold on for third and even looked like she may hold on as they hit the stretch. A game run in conditions that probably didn’t suit.

4th Aime La Nature Our Athletes Geroux F

Went to the lead and it can be tough to do that on an off track and in the end, she was left battling for third place. To be fair, this one and the third horse looked like they may battle alone to the line until the closers came hard in the stretch, so this was a decent effort but fourth pace and losing money is always a bitter pill to swallow.
