This filly has a bit of Howl To The Hound in her it seems because she seems to love winning but also loves a fight. Getting back from the wide draw she ran into a challenging position through the turn and got into the action at the furlong pole, Digging deep she just kept stretching and got up by a head in a very nice effort. This filly is now three from four and i do wonder looking at her conformation and the Decima blood whether she may be even better with some grass under her hooves.

2nd        The Nation         Arindel          Ortiz I Jr

Rallied hard for the second time is stakes races and took second in the end in a game display. Her conformation says she wont last long but she looks like she will earn her keep and then some for now. A great buy for just $40.

3rd         Moment To Dream      La Canada Racehorses        Rosario J

A nice effort and this filly has plenty of upside going forward. I think she will improve as she grows and as she stretches out.

4th=        In Amongst The Wreck      Jive Inc.        Castellano J J

Right there witha furlong to run but tired and ended up dead heating for fourth. This was a nice effort off a strong pace but her confo suggests she may need further and it may have been pace that beat her rather than stamina.

4th=         Salt Who         Aer Stables        Davis D

Dead Heated for fourth from the wide gate, not a bad effort considering but that $200 she cost is looking mighty expensive at the moment. There should be more to come though and i suspect a better draw will see her back in the thick of it.
