1 1/8 Mile Dirt Stake Purse $250.000 Filly 3 Year Olds.

1st Secret Eyes            Arindel            Court J K

The trainer is in such great form at the moment it was no surprise that this one started long odds on favorite especially when you consider she was coming to this grade three contest with two grade one successes to her name. Sitting of the pace but handy she got to the front inside the final furlong and comfortably held a half length advantage at the line. I have a feeling her form lines would read even better had she got some decent draws in her previous few starts and as the season moves on i have a feeling she will prove a formidable opponent for the older horses.

2nd Top Billing               Smokey Stover              Alvarado J

Made the lead with a furlong to run but was run down in the end. In only her sixth career start there is plenty still to come from this daughter of Creepy Palace.

3rd Steppin Out             Mb Stables                  Ortiz J L

This maiden ran another great race flying through at the end but leaving it all too late. She must be the best maiden in the game at the moment and i wonder whether she will ever need to run in a maiden to record her first win.

4th Dem Say            Night Rider Stables            Cancel E

Fell right out the back door early on but made up plenty of ground to be fourth. This was a nice effort by the home bred who is clearly on the improve and a second win wont be far away.
