1st: #1 Serious Early Speed (Mo Mentum Farm/J.L. Castanon 118): Broke alertly and wuickly assumed command.  Opened-up a three length advantage nearing bend.  Hugged rail turning for home and held sway over stablemate to set new stake’s record.

2nd: #4 Pearls Before Swine (Mo Mentum Farm/J.C. Ferrer 118): Outside of stalking trio.  Moved closest to the leader rounding the bend.  No match for the winner.

3rd: #3 John Deere (T Boy Racing/P. Morales 122): Between runners early.  Mild move rounding the turn for home.  Couldn’t get by runner-up.

Congratulations to Serious Early Speed and Mo Mentum Farm on their victory in the Marion Stakes!  The Marion is the first stake’s tally for the winner who now stands 8-5-0-1 with $138.480 in earnings.
