We stay at AQU for a nice weekend of stakes action and look at a field of sophomore sod fillies in The Pebbles (GIII)… and what a horse she was. This is a flat mile on the Mellon course, and The Green Card and I agree on this one, for the most part. I took Magic Dust as the top pick today, although she only has that one Alw win (DH) to her ’24 record. That was also at a mile, and that is the key for me… distance. I think her best can get the job done. Mb has two sharp fillies in here, and I took Pragmatic as the second choice – just flip those two for The Cards selections – she just missed when third in the QEII at KEE, and I think her class makes her stand out in this group.
