Who knew a mile and a half marathon would be spelled out in a speed duel that ultimately set the stage for the finish… yeah, everyone.  Mb Stables’ Seven Is Lucky sat behind the pace, let the speed burn and them moved up at will to take the HOL Turf Cup (GII) by a length, stopping the clock in a snappy 2:24.38, just missing the stakes record, while setting a new track record… remember, this race was run at HOL up until it’s closure in 2013.  It was a length back to 28/1 Prince Ferro in second then three-quarters of a length to 12/1 Cherokee Raj in third and two more to 12/1 Traveller in fourth.  Nine lengths covered the field.
