  8   CD   The Audubon

Every once in a while, you get one of those races… I think we’ve arrived.  The Audubon has drawn seven to the CD lawn, and there’s a bit of every angle in this one.  Without getting into the nitty gritty, let’s stick to the picks and I’ll take Royal Devil as the one to beat in this one.  He was rolling until the KYD, and obviously, we can draw a line thru that one, and when you add in that he broke maiden on the lawn, this could be right where he needs to be.  I’ll put Smokin Access in the second spot, as he’s already won a grass stakes, taking the Kittens Joy at GP, and then won an Alw race at PRX going today’s distance.  The Card sees it all different, and I will not be surprised by any outcome… this is going to be a free-for-all.
