The trainer is a State bred specialist and this filly already has a State bred stakes race to her name when taking the La Senora Stakes in January. She looked a bit tired at the end of her last run which may call into question her stamina over this trip, but she is a solid sort who should give a good account.

She won The NM Lassie when a juvenile but is another who is untested over this sort of trip. She tried more off the pace tactics last time in a good allowance race and made up ground like this trip would suit but stamina is a tough thing to read at HRP and it could be just down to pace rather than any form of stamina, A chance for sure if she gets the trip.
3 Fear Mrs Z Asgar Silvera Ru
A battling winner of the Enchantress Stakes over the mile last time she clearly liked the new engine and may try and make the running again today. She has the advantage of less question marks about her stamina and has been solid since finishing behind Willies Sad Face in the NM Lassie last year.
4 Lady In Red Bears Stable Alvarado F T
Behind in both the Enchantress and La Senora to two of her rivals today but rather interestingly got her revenge on the La Senora defeat by Newry Jewelry in the Enchantress which makes Fear Mrs Z the target today. I think she will be suited by the trip today so must go in the hopper as a winning chance.
5 In The Switch Grass Mb Stables Lopez P
A neck behind Fear Mrs Z in The Enchantress and in front of Lady In Red she was certainly hitting the line well in that race and is another with a winning chance if it is her turn.
6 Victorious Secret Acber Farms Velazquez J R
A very easy Allowance winner over this course and distance last time, I feel that even though she only has 4 starts and has never contested a stakes race before that she is probably the best in the race.
SUMMARY
Well, the top five in the draw have been sharing out the stakes money in these State breds with none of them really being dominant. That is pretty common here at HRP with so many horses being similar and tactics, starts, jockeys and draw having such an influence. I would imagine that once again they will swap form around, but for me the one that has no links to the rest of them may in fact be the winner and that is Victorious Secret in the outside gate.
