Silver Setbus broke sharply from the outside post and took command early in the Sugar Swirl on Saturday. Going into the turn, Sweep Me Over settled into 2^nd on the rail with favorite City Swirl between them in 3^rd. A length back, Bettys Wisky led the second flight in 4^th. To her outside, Dashboard Rahy ran 5^th with Cozzene Scandal to her outside 6^th, and Viva Diva trailed the leader by 5.

Midway on the turn, City Twirl started to drop back right in front of Dashboard Rahy, allowing Bettys Wisky to take 3^rd. Meanwhile on the lead, Silver Setbut extended her lead to a length.

Silver Setbus looked like the for sure winner at the head of the stretch. Sweep Me Over held on in second. Betty Wisky came off the rail for her run and Cozzene Scandal moved into 4^th. Dashboard Rahy finally found an opening and made her run.

Betty Wisky surged toward Silver Setbut in late stretch, and the 2 hit the wire a head bob apart, with Dashboard Rahy breathing down their necks in 3^rd and Cozzene Scandal 4^th.

It was the 7^th win in 10 starts this year for Silver Setbus. The 3yo fillscored her 1^st graded win for owner/breeder Elki Stable. Her career record stands at 13-7-1-0 $228.570.

Silver Setbus – Lead wire-to-wire to win by a nose.
Betty Wisky – Came from off the pace with a strong stretch drive to get up for 2^nd.
Dashboard Rahy – Recovered from traffic problems to get up for 3^rd.
Cozzene Scandal – Finished a close 4^th after trailing by as many as 4.
Sweep Me Over –Pressed the pace until the stretch, then faded in the stretch to finish 5^th.
Viva Diva – Trailed throughout and finished 6^th.
City Twirl – Close early, then faded badly to finish last.
