The OK Derby (GIII) was over shortly after the gates opened…  Sirius Black let Battle Plan flash a bit of early speed, but when the Arindel trained gelding had seen enough of his taillights, he moved right on past, opened a clear lead and went under the wire clear by two in a flashy final time of 1:47.55, just a couple ticks off of the track record.  Royal Valor closed a late bit of ground but was not a threat to the winner, taking the second spot over Battle Plan in third.  It was another length to Los Pollos Hermanos in fourth and seven lengths covered the field.
