The Mamzelle did kind of turn into a two-horse race, but it wasn’t the two horses that we thought would battle… Sister Nance and Disconnected battled all the way around the Twin Spires turf course but the D J C Racing Stables‘ owned Sister Nancy pulled away late to score by a length while stopping the clock at 1:02.63 for the five and a half furlongs.  Mb Stables’ Disconnected ran a big race to take the second spot, then a half-length back to When Doves Cry, from the Big Jd Racing outfit, in third.  It was another length to post-time favorite Kuul Off, owned by Asgar, in fourth.  Four lengths covered the field of seven.
