Sold for $20.000 in Feb and won at first asking for the new barn. That was an ALW race down in TAM and she showed her usual tactical speed which should be part of her plan here today. This is her first shot at stakes company but I think she just may be this type of filly. Giver her a big look here.
Another that was recently sold, bringing $150.000 via private ways, and she’s been running well vs. graded horses down in SoFla this year. She was a fast closing fourth at a mile in a GIII then pulled the same type of run last out only getting beaten a length while third going today’s distance. Sharp horse…sharp barn.
Won back to back races over this strip before facing graded horses in two starts at the FG. She tired in both of those, but that was fairly salty company. Today may be a spot for her to get back on the right track.
Still a maiden, the barn goes big game hunting with her today. She’s been close in both of her starts, but it is just hard for me to get excited about maidens facing winners… especially stakes horses. She may prove me wrong, but that’s just what it will have to be.
She closed out ’15 with a nice third in a GII at CD… now that race was on the main track and it was wet that afternoon, but it was a good run at good horses. Now, for ’16 it’s been a tough road as she was up the track in both seasonal starts and she tired badly in the FG Oaks (GII) last out. She needs to turn it around.
Three in a row and that was a game effort at TUP while moving over to the sod for the first time. She just got up in the last step to win that one and so they go after stakes company. She just may be that type of horse and certainly know how to get her picture taken.
