The mare for which this race is named was an absolute monster… she won her first seven starts for Mr. Casey and threw a few nice horses when she headed off to the shed.  But, I go back in time and this is about the now… we look at the field of six set to go the abbreviated four and a half furlongs in the Its Binn Too Long Stakes.  Everyone carries 119 pounds, so let’s get that out of the way… so who get’s the nod?  Let’s go to the outside post and put Beauty Queen on top tonight… she was third vs. open stakes company when third in the Serenas Song at TP last out,  only a length back in that one.  She broke maiden first out over this surface and at the distance, so… yeah, she’s got a lot going for her.  Speaking of which, right next door, we will go with Mollys Sweet Nectar in the second spot… undefeated in two starts, and looked super sharp taking down Alw horses here in her most recent, she could be any type.  Sharp work getting ready for this… I think the barn has this one on her toes. 

I’ll tip my cup to the late Costy Caras and also to Mr. Casey… it’s going to be a fun one at the bull ring.
