Six Take on Techfluence High in Regret

Regret – Grade 3 – $225.00

CD – 1 1/8 Mile – Turf

For Fillies Three Years Old

June 3, 2023

Techfluence High, BC Juvenile Fillies Turf winner, tries for her first win of the year and could get it done with a top effort. Mundi Moon looks strong and primed for a big performance after a second in the Providencia. The mystery horse in this field is Lil Bo who comes in off a three-race win streak, including a graded stake, at sprinting distance. She has never run a mile or beyond, and her work tab gives nothing away. Should be a good one.

Here’s the field:

1 Techfluence High (The Sidley Stud)

Winner of the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf. Second in the Grade 2 Appalachian two starts back, sandwiched between two less than spectacular efforts. If she follows that pattern, this could be a big one for her. And even if you’re not superstitious, she’s got what it takes to get the job done if she runs to form.

2 Undisputed (Mb Stables)

Just four starts for this filly. Started her career in stakes company and finished a solid second that day. Only off the board once, and she tired badly that day after leading most of the way. Working very well, and what she lacks in experience she could make up for in talent.

3 Dress Warrior (Our Athletes)

Another one that seems on again off again and is due for a big performance. Won the Sanibel Island two starts back. Her only graded try came in the Jessamine last October when she finished seventh. Works are solid. We’ll see how she runs on race day.

4 Silver Cobra Woman (Arindel)

Didn’t fare well in the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf but has two good second place allowances at the distance since then. Last out finished up the track in the Grade 3 Providencia. Will need a big effort to get a win here.

5 Mundi Moon (High Voltage)

Second in the Providencia and second in the China Doll after changing hands in February for $55.000. Before that, she had back-to-back wins in MSW and allowance company. Looks primed for a big performance here. Could be the early leader and should have a say in the outcome.

6 Bombing For Peace (Jerry Garcia Racing)

Five starts, three wins including a maiden, an allowance and an optional claimer. Does not perform as well at stakes level. Working very well at CD, but we’ll have to see what she can do on race day.

7 Lil Bo (Tockyocky)

Coming in on a three-race winning streak that includes a wire-to-wire win in the Senorita Stakes (Grade 3) last start. All three wins were at 6 ½ furlongs. She has never gone as far as a mile, so distance is definitely a question.
