9 FG LCD Lassie
$100.000 2yoF Foaled in LA 6f Dirt Weight 121lbs +penalties
A small field of four will be seen at the post on Saturday as we look at the field for the 2020 LC Lassie, a 6f LA-bred race for the young fillies. I went with Rematch as the top choice here. She has been a handful since being tagged at DMR two starts back and I expect her to be running late in this one as well. It’s a small field so traffic shouldn’t be an issue… open the gate and let’s see who has the stuff.
Here’s The Field –
|
Lightning Link | Luz International | Graham J | 121 | 7/2 |
Broke maiden then won a LA-bred Alw race before a couple of tough races in stakes company. Just a bit short vs. Alw horses at HAW last out, and her last three were on the sod. Back to state-bred and dirt… that could spell win.
|
Most Wicked | Arindel | Bridgmohan S X | 121 | 8/1 |
Broke maiden at DED vs. state-bred types then was third at the $16.000 claiming level at CRC on a muddy strip. She’s been on the board in five of seven starts, so she could be in the hunt here.
|
Rematch | T Boy Racing | Saez G | 121 | 4/1 |
Tagged out of a $45.000 claimer two starts back, and those two starts resulted in a win and a second at the Alw level. I’d look for another big race from her today and she may be the one to get past.
|
Steal Yeaux Gurl | Luz International | Arrieta F | 121 | 4/1 |
Broke maiden in her third race, getting home by two vs. $20.000 mdn claimers at DED going a flat mile. She was second prior to that and has never been worse than fourth in three starts. Give her a look.
