We stay in SoCal and move to the turf course for the Pasadena Stakes, this one going a flat mile on the lush lawn, here at SA.  This looks like a fairly wide-open race but I’m laughing as the only 124 pound horse in the race catches… wait for it… the outside post.  So, let’s head on out there and give Double Entendre the top choice.  The colt closed well to take the TX Turf Mile in his second start on the green stuff.  I think he just keeps gettin’ better and takes this one, as well.  I’ll go right next door and take Infrared in the second spot… back to back wins since the Vet stopped by to help him concentrate, and has won three of his last four, all on the grass.  I like Back Class in his return to the weeds, as well.
