Solow close up early two lengths off the pace and then ran on down the home stretch taking up the lead in the final furlong going on to win The American Turf win by half a length from Devil Six with Steppe Cossacks three quarters of a length further back in third.

How they ran.
Solow close up early two lengths off the pace before running on down the home stretch to take up the lead in the final furlong going on to win by half a length.
Devil Six settled near the rear of the field seven lengths off the pace then ran on very strongly getting up to finish second beaten by half a length.
Steppe Cossacks led the field from the off till the final furlong being passed dropping back to finish third.
Midwestern Slang started and raced in second before being passed in the final furlong dropping back to finish fourth.
Funny One settled at the rear of the field before running on strongly getting up to finish fifth.
Recruitment always near the rear of the field started and raced in seventh made then made headway to finish sixth.
Serious Cobra always in mid pack, started in sixth and finished seventh.
Turn Ninnie broke in third and weakened back through the field to finish eighth.
Nineties Batler started in fifth then just went backwards to finish last of the nine runners beaten by eight lengths.
