The Road to Louisville brings a full field to the starting gate here in NY, and we look at the entrants for the 2023 Jerome.  This is a wide open race, in my opinion, as a LOT of these have broke maiden and that’s about all.  The scratch of Ben Nevis throws a wrench into this one . A few of the others have stakes experience, like Cop With Coffee, Long Cap, Ghostzap and the like, but I’m going to look for Untidy to run big today.  She broke maiden at DMR at first asking, always a tough chore, and we know how the big barn handles these sophomores, getting them ready for the big races – and we see how the weight plays into things for the fillies.  I’ll put Abfuscator in the second spot off of that CD Alw win, even though that was on the sod.  He broke maiden on the main track and the veteran conditioner knows a good horse when he saddles one.
