Nailed it!  Spankys Barn came into Saturday’s San Simeon Stakes (GIII) with a purpose… mission accomplished!!  Taking two of the top three spots, the barn stays hot as does their Bluesman … the 7yo remains perfect for the ’24 season, going under the wire in front by a length and stopping the timer at 1:11.72 for the six and a half down-hill sprint.  Maxmillion Farm’s Whoa Bo continues to run second to the winner, just as he did last out, and secures the place here, a quarter length better than White Sunshine, also from the Spankys Barn outfit, the Mb Stables Love Of The Derby took the minor money.  Seven lengths covered the field of eleven and the turf course was listed as Firm .
