1st Spicy Poke Estero Farms Wilson E J

Stalking the modest pace this filly won at the first time of asking for her new owners running on to well to win by a quarter length. Its always tough to read a four horse race but she was tough today and looks capable of getting involved in some good races this year.

2nd Really Healthy La Canada Racehorses Contreras L

This front runner looked to have stolen this race but her stamina gave out in the end going down in the last few strides by a quarter length. I think she is a better filly going a mile or less and i am sure she will win again before the season ends.

3rd Techno Cheryl The Sidley Stud Campbell J M

Had a decent enough trip but didnt quicken just whacking away for a well beaten third, she is proving difficult to follow after her win the the Tempted last year and her trainer may need to go back and look at her to find that magic touch again.

4th Out And Bad Night Rider Stables Boulanger G

She was a well beaten last but was making a little ground at the end. She is another who clearly has ability but has been struggling since a decent two year old campaign.
