Sprinting Ladies Head Down-Hill in Las Cienegas Stakes at SA

Lady sprinters will be the name of the game and the down-hill course will be the venue as we look at the field for the Las Cienegas Stakes (GIII), a six and a half furlong dash on the SA lawn.  Can Pelucha keep her hot hand going?  A nice win in the Unzip Me and a close second din the Maddy Stakes… both on the quirky down-hill, and that accounted for two of her three ’23 wins.  Point Of Honor won four races last season, and had two runners up efforts, and comes back for her 6yo season after an eighth on BC Day, going 5f here.  I like both Ponzi Scheme and Always Condottieri a little bit… they are versatile sorts that run short and/or long, but both love the green stuff.  It should be a good one!
