I hope someone in the handicapping contest was paying attention as both The Card and I had the winner in this one! I’m not sure how TwinTowersRacing’s Starting Over was dismissed at nearly 6/1 odds, but she made the public pay as she galloped home by three-quarters of a length to take the HOU Ladies Classic (GIII) in a final running time of 1:41.54 for the mile and a sixteenth. The HOU main track was listed as Fast. Tokushima from the Nakamura Stables closed from far back to nab the second spot, then another quarter length to the post time favorite, Wavy Girl, from the Saratoga Stud barn in third. Maxmillion Farm picks up the minor loot at Decimas Queen was fourth in the field of eight, all covered by six lengths.
