Could not wrestle the rail off the mare inside her and set down for a battle royale as these two fighters punched and parried all the way to the line. Whether it was the extra ground that beat her or just a gutsy rival she did everything she could to win this and kept battling all the way to the line and lost nothing in defeat. She has shown ability over all sorts of trips and on both surfaces, but you feel if she can settle on one, she could end up a graded winning filly.

It was tactics 101 for the stable, one forward and one back with the two runners and this mare finished very well to be a very close third. Like her stable mate she is a decent sprinter that has been admirably consistent through her career and whilst she has already tasted graded stakes victory another may not be too far away.

As expected, she was outpaced early and ran on strongly to the line. It often amazes me how a lot of the HRP digital horses seem to be able to run different distances with very little change in tactics or form and she is a fine example of how adaptable they can be. Whether that’s by design so there are more options open to the digital owner or just a difficulty in really assessing a horse’s best trip I don’t know but either way this four-year-old really does have a future if she can settle on a career path.
