Leading every step of the way, Street Edge scored his 3rd graded victory of the season, and stamped himself a legitimate contender for the BC Sprint, with a half-length victory in The Nerud-G2.  The 5yo now sports a 29-6-6-4 race record with earnings of $753.820 after conquering the seven-furlong, $250.000 G2.

Sharply away from post seven, Street Edge was aggressively handled by E. Maldonado as he posted splits of :22.80, :45.63, and 1:08.90 before finishing-out the seven furlongs in a sharp 1:21.28.  Farleysgotsaltynuts rallied from midpack to secure the place, a half-length behind the winner.  Thundering Speed used a similar rally, from the center of the track, to finish another length back in 3rd with Hint Of Sugar just a head behind in 4th.  Winchester, Audioslave, Rock N Rattle, Etf Funds, Jigokudani, and When Your Strange completed the order of finish.
