1 Los Pollos Hermanos (Panionios Racing) Three starts for this gelding. All in WV-bred company. Broke his maiden in August, then followed that up with a win in the $75.000 Mercer Memorial. Like his chances here.

2 Grammands Commands (TwinTowersRacing) Broke his maiden in MSW company last out at a mile. Looks like he should like the distance.

3 Red Wine (Hippyheart) Broke his maiden in MSW company at GG, then got another win in optional claiming company and made it look easy. Tried graded level in the Champagne (Grade 1) last start but finished well up the track. Should like this spot better.

4 War of Backroads (Fractious) Tried graded before he broke his maiden which he did last out at MTH by four lengths at the same distance as this race. Could be a factor here.

5 Ghostzap (Fractious) Another one for Fractious coming in off a maiden win. Could be up front early and just might hold on to the wire.

6 Man A Yard (Night Rider Stables) Maiden claiming winner on turf. Tried stakes level in the $500.000 Nownownow, also on turf, and got up for third. Not sure what he’ll do on dirt.

7 The Alchemist (Nakamura Stables) Broke his maiden at MTH two starts back, then tried graded in the Grade 3 Iroquois but could do no better than eighth of ten. Giving it another try here, but he’ll need a big effort to beat these.

8 Marching Orders (Mb Stables) If you value experience, this is the colt for you. Six starts, two wins, including the $75.000 Hoover in July. He’s been trying to break through at graded level ever since. Don’t think he’ll do it here.
