Three of these ladies have met before. Two changed hands recently. Four are homebreds. And they are all looking for a win in this six-furlong contest.

Here’s the field:

1 Bay The Lady (Mb Stables)

Second in the $100.000 Ruthless last out off a $50.000 claim. Only off the board once in eight starts. Should have a say in the outcome, and a win wouldn’t be a surprise.

2 Skyler White (Riggins Racing)

Purchased for $140.000 just a few days ago. Makes her first start for her new connections on 10 days’ rest. Second in the ATBA Sales Stakes Trials in January. If she can make the quick turnaround, she could be right there at the wire.

3 Devils Bride (Fractious)

Fourth in the Ruthless behind Bay The Lady. Allowance win at FG in January. A lot of stakes experience, but not a lot of success. Good spot for another level but at that level but may not have what it takes to run with some of these.

4 Miss Broomstick (Nj Vets)

Broke her maiden at first asking in November at FL. But with just a maiden win, this filly looks a bit outclassed in this field.

5 Galloway (Rock Creek)

Coming in off a maiden claiming win at GP. Will need to step it up big time to compete here.

6 His Imaginary Lover (Night Rider Stables)

Claimed for $25.000 two starts back. Only a maiden win for this one, but she has hit the board pretty consistently. Field came up tough for a first try in stakes company.

7 Nadelle (Alydar Stables)

Dead heated with Crystal Cave in the PARX Futurity in December but could do no better than fifth in the Ruthless against some of the fillies she will meet here. Another one that needs a big effort.

8 One Fine Dame (D J C Racing)

Back-to-back wins coming in to this race. Won a state-bred allowance at AQU last out. Has only missed the board once in seven starts. Looks like a real contender in a tough spot. Wouldn’t count her out.
