Well, I could say we did a good job picking these, but it looks like everyone had this race scoped out… Team 7 Illusions picks up the win as Axon, the odd-on favorite, took The FL Sire Stakes – Affirmed by a quarter length, closing from well off of the pace… and that was the story of this one. He stopped the time at 1:22.08 for the seven furlongs, over the GP main oval, listed as Fast. Medvedev, from the Sccj Stables, also closed a late gap to nab the runner up position, then a length to Black War taking the third spot. It was another head back to Jun Group in fourth. Six lengths covered the field of seven.
