Well, I worked on a write-up for 2+ hours and lost it because… well, never mind. It’s gone… so, we get the abbreviated write up for an important TC prep race because I’m just fed up. There’s a lot to talk about in The Withers (GIII), from Winned… the forum chatter has been relentless, the filly was a story-line, but she’s out… and Mb now has a three-headed monster in here… always a danger.

I’m putting my eggs in the Van Go Go basket… nice closing wins at SA vs Alw types then at CD taking the KY Jockey Club (GII)… I think he’s a horse that may get overlooked in this bunch, and that could be good for our tickets. Let’s go down to the rail and give Poison Arrow a big look today. From Mb Stables, he showed good speed in his first start after the private purchase and won the LA Futurity (GII) in game fashion, taking that big race by a nose. Tactical speed is always important, and from the rail, it could spell light’s-out for this group. I’ll put Im Sorry So Sorry in the third spot… he won the Display at WO and the Remsen (GII) at AQU… closed well when fifth beaten a length at OP in the Smarty Jones, that track being tricky tight and this could be the perfect spot for him.

It’s a nice group… all eyes on this one!
