1st Techfluence, trained by The Sidley Stud

Last years winner gets the repeat win in this race very nicely. He pretty much did the same as last year and took over this race to win. He stalked the pace early on and then when he made his move there was no looking back from him. He won by half of a length in nice fashion. He ran the distance in 2:25.10 and earned $120.000 for the win.

2nd Bayou Quartier, trained by Invicta Group Llc

Well it was nice to see this horse finally get back on track to a point and run a good race. He ran a very nice but the only problem was he ran into a horse who loves this track so he just couldn’t end up winning but he still put forth a very nice effort to only get beat by a half length. He ran a very nice race.

3rd Taniwha, trained by Aml Racing

This horse here also ran a very nice and he closed from way back to only end up getting g beat by a length in the end. He was eight lengths back at one point but still came flying late even with not being that quick at all. Maybe if he was a little closer he would’ve been able to close for the win in here.

4th Sound Decision, trained by Gdp Inc

Not a bad run from this horse either as he kind of surprised me by running this good honestly and he only got beat by a length in the end. He was off the pace by a couple of lengths early on and closed decently to get in on a little bit of the purse. He didn’t run a bad race at all.

Summary

Well Techfluence just decided to go ahead and win this race for the second year in a row. He ran a good race and was only six one hundredths of a second off of the track record he set last year. He likes this track and turf course for sure and if he keeps this up he may be back next year. Congratulations to Techfluence and The Sidley Stud.
