Well this one seems to be about as wide open as the front door… A field of ten is set to go a flat mile in the 2016 running of The Salvator Mile (GIII). I going to give the slight edge to Sinissippi Eagle today. I know he was sixth in his first start for the new barn, but he was only a length back that afternoon and if he can run anything close to that win in the GP Hcp (GII) back in March, he should be able to take this bunch.
I’m going to put Whatever Man in the second spot. He has some back class to say the least and other than his dud on BC Day back in Oct he’s on the board in every start. He’s been going more than a mile in most of those races so the distance should be right in his wheel-house and he may actually be the post-time favorite.
I like Investment Grade and B N Ravishes a bit as well, and this should be an evenly matched group so anyone could pull the win in my opinion. Good luck to all!
