Sunday Stakes Action in Gotham City… that’s the idea, as seven freshmen ladies line up to go a mile on the Mellon Turf Course for The Tepin.  I’m expecting an all-star lineup to visit the track today, so this should be a great race to watch. 

I took Ride With An Edge as the top pick, that one fresh off of a fourth-place finish in the Matron (GIII).  She won her two prior starts, and that stakes race was over this course, so I think she fits well here.

Now, let’s see how many people we can fit in the paddock as I expect Bill Parcells, Roddy Piper (RIP), P-diddy, and a host of others to be around for the saddling of Wyndham, my second choice.  That all-star lineup has given me some recent grief, so I’ll do my best to stay out of the way.  She won at first asking and just missed while closing fast to be the runner-up in the PID Debutante.  Another like that will make her a tough nut with this group.    

I like Give Me A Reason a bit, if she can run back to that KD Juv Filly race.  I’m not sure what happened in SoCal, last out, but let’s hope she forgets that one and bounces back.
