Duchess going close up early challenged in the straight to take the lead could not hold the pace of the winner.
Charred Mayhem broke first to lead the field by a length challenged and past by first two in the home straight to finish third.
Glory Eagle settled at the rear ran on past the beaten Aguasanta to finish fourth.
Aguasanta never in the race started and raced in fourth four lengths off the paced weakened to finish last of the five runners.
