After back to back wins, I just can’t put my finger on that last out effort at SAR. Just loped along at the back of the field and came home the same way, beating a couple in that one. I’d like to think that was some kind of bounce, and let’s hope she can come back to that Ruffian Hcp (GII) race she ran back in May
Three in a row and four of five since the hostile takeover, including back to back stakes wins v. ONT breds. This is obviously a step up, but this girl has been firing on all cylinders, winning on grass, dirt… heck she’d run her eyeballs out in the parking lot. Give her a chance here with some odds.
Hasn’t seen the winner’s circle since changing hands back in March, but she’s been close in four of her five starts for the current outfit. Four of those have been graded affairs so the class isn’t a concern for this one. Maybe another decent check here today.
She’s 0 for the year but has been on the board in a couple of classy races. At 8yo, her best days are probably behind her, but she could sneak up and take a major chunk of this one.
Has done most of her ’15 damage on the left coast, racking up some good money v. Cal breds. Lit ’em up at DMR last out, winnine by six in pretty quick time. But again, those were Cal-bred Alw horses and this is going to be a bit tougher.
Hasn’t had her picture taken since Feb v. Alw horses but she has been getting decent checks since then. Still, she will need her absolute best to get any part of this one, especially being parked out widest of all.
